In an international business, is it a courtesy to know the company's business etiquettes?
I guess so. It will be just an personal advantage to know business etiquettes and treat according to it. In most of the international businesses there are companies, which first search about that country's etiquettes before going to a meeting. On the other hand there are companies, which do not search about it. Searching is not necesseraly required because both of the companies will know that their business is international and they don't have to know exactly what to do. Knowing it or not knowing, will not change sides approval to this business.
The only advantage of searching and adjusting to the country's etiquettes is, you get more personal priority from the company. Besides your business relationship and presentation, with your personal etiquette knowledge you become more impressive and effective. Even though people say that in business life there shouldn't be any personal thoughts, it is obvious that people give importance to their feelings.

I, personally know that nobody will be rude to the company's members when they go to a meeting or signing the documents, but I should say that before going to a meeting it will be a good manner to learn few things about that country's business etiquettes. With it you will not only sign a document, but you will also win their respect.
